The last two weeks we have been learning about emotions! The children love The Color Monster book. They wanted to read it over and over again. (Highly Recommended) They also learned strategies to help them deal with different emotions.   Oliver putting the blocks away! Over the summer we get new and fun toys for the preschoolers. It’s hard as a teacher not to put all the fun toys out at once. Here at ELP we don’t put out a lot of toys until the children learn where all the toys go. We put pictures and words to help the children keep the room organized. As the children learn where the toys go we slowly add more toys to the classroom teaching them sorting and matching! I recommend changing your child’s toys out once a month. This helps the children not get bored and keeps equipment and toys exciting.
